The Mid-Ohio Sports Car Club is revving up for another season

One of the state's oldest car clubs will hold six autocrosses this year at Mansfield Lahm Airport. The dates are June 12, July 17, Aug. 14, Sept. 5 and Oct. 9.

The sessions are open to anyone 18 and older with a valid driver's license or drivers 16 and 17 with a parent's consent form on file.

Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a drivers' meeting at slated for 9:45 a.m. The first car will start at 10 a.m.

The autocross is for any four-wheeled vehicle with a minimum 72-inch wheelbase. The car must have a seat belt and a muffler for stock and street prepared classes. A helmet is required and loaners are available.

It costs $20 for members and $25 for non-members.
